Me? I haven’t got time to care about how we came about or how we should live our lives. Do whatever you want. It makes no difference to me. I’m just trying to get on with my life. I have the things that make me happy and I won’t let them go.

Religion is one thing that I seriously don’t have time for. There are too many. Plus I don’t think I could live by a set of someone else’s rules. But I respect those who follow religions. Problem is, just because I believe in some points of different religions, doesn’t mean I’ll drop everything to follow them. There is also the small problem of part believing.

Should you decide to join a religion because you agree with particular point, are you then required to partake in all “rules”? I believe I should “love thy neighbour”, killing and stealing is wrong, helping others. However, I don’t believe homosexuality is a sin and that you shouldn’t be allowed to have sex before marriage. But if I were to become a born-again Christian would I have to start hating gay folk suddenly?! I believe in a form of reincarnation, doesn’t mean I’ll bugger off, become a Buddhist and live the best I can so I won’t be a dung beetle in my next life.

What I believe DOESN’T MATTER. It doesn’t affect others in any way. People follow religion to please their “God”, or because it’s in their culture, or they need to find themselves. I’m OK with that.

I live in a little country which is joined to some other countries. I’d like to be an independent country. Most of my friends have an opinion on this, but when asked mine I don’t get into a big spiel about how much better off we’d be without the other countries. I reply, “I just want to be a different colour on the map. Preferably pink.” I’m a simpleton ^_^

I don’t understand enough about politics to have a proper Thinking about it. I think people get too uppity about it to be honest. I’m not against politics, however. I have a vote and I always use it. Why the hell not? Even if you don’t give a damn about it, why would you waste your vote? Even just to vote for some insignificant party for shits and giggles. When my Daddy gets going on a politics rant I kind of just nod and agree. I feel like I’m not smart enough to know about it.

Politics isn’t unlike religion in a way. So if aliens came to earth they’d see a bunch of animals who like to shout out about opinions and beliefs. LOOK AT ME I’M UNIQUE! But by following this one statement, we really aren’t very unique at all.

We’re so frantic to voice this “everyone is equal and the same inside” vision, yet everyone screams to show how distinctive and exceptional they can be. In the bigger picture we are all tiny human beings inhabiting the same oversized orb. In the smaller picture though, we are unique and special individual people with diverse principles and ideas. But we all matter just as much as the next.

We all laugh, eat, hurt, poo, lead, cough, scratch, bitch, dress, grow, sleep, smile, love, dance, worry, sneeze, want, drink, sex, pee, preen, save, vomit,  fart, marvel, help, hate, question, collect, care, watch, answer, try, need, relax, blink, play, cry and FAP.

Basically.

Be whatever you want.

Just don’t get in my way.

Scary stuff. But I’m ok with it. New start and all. Had a wee panic about where I’d move to, but it’s all sorted now.

In-keeping with the ginger flatmate tradition I have opted to move in to the spare room of a boy I will call The Ginger. He has featured in my blog before, but I shan’t divulge that information. it will forever remain a mystery.

Next year will be all a change for Pie. But I’m ok with it. Change insights many possibilities for me. It’s all exciting! 

Christmas is the next big thing I’m spending it at Tall Boy’s parents. 

Now these two people are incredible. They have been married 35 years and you’d think they were still in their honeymoon period! They still snuggle and hold hands and you can just tell they totally adore each other. That’s what I want my marriage to be like. Forever. 

I feel so relaxed around Tall Boy’s family it’s crazy. I feel like I’ve been taken in as one of their own and it makes me feel fuzzy ^_^

So currently, while writing this, I am sitting on the kitchen floor fully clothed with my dressing-gown on, back against the washing machine. Why am I doing this? Well. You know cats have a weird thing about lying on warm things? They just get attracted to warm places? I’m kinda like that. I hate being cold so I go wherever is the warmest. As this moment it just so happened to be the washing machine. I was perched on front of the oven earlier. 

Well, that’s about it for today. 

The fridge is empty. 

I have a LOT of pokémon cards. They’re all in number order.

I have zombie slippers.
